Market rental housing are available in a brand-new development, in “The Tides” at KinVillage.

You may be eligible for Market Rental Housing if you meet the following requirements:

You must be a resident of British Columbia and have the ability to pay market rent without subsidy.

Your annual income must fall below the maximum income limit, based on unit size. For 2024, the income limits are:

  • Studio or 1-bedroom: Annual income must be below $84,780

  • Two or more bedrooms: Annual income must be below $134,140

In addition, assets must be below $300,000.

Monthly rental cost ranges are as follows:

  • One-bedroom units start from $1,850 – $1,900

  • Two-bedroom units start from $2,200 – $2,250

Applicants must be 19 years or older with disabilities and/or 55 years or older who can live independently, and must be in receipt of a recognized disability pension or be considered disabled for income tax purposes.

How to Apply for Market Housing at KinVillage

You can fill out the fillable application form and email it to housing@kinvillage.org, or drop it off in person.

To apply by email, download the form to your computer, fill it out, save it, and send it to housing@kinvillage.org.

If you prefer to apply in person, you can pick up a paper application Monday to Friday at:

  • KinVillage Vidal Court Office: 5492 11th Avenue, Tsawwassen (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

  • KinVillage Community Centre Front Desk: 5430 10th Avenue, Tsawwassen (9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)

86 units ranging from 464 square feet to 550 square feet.

South Court

11 Units ranging from 430 square feet to 550 square feet.

Vidal Court

30 units primarily 578 square feet with some up to 813 square feet.

KinVillage offers seniors a secure, comfortable home in a supportive community. Residents get a free Community Centre membership for access to activities such as fitness, dancing, billiards, crafts, music, education, trips, events, and the Unique Boutique and Buenos Dias Cafe.
