A Kitchen Built on Generosity: The Boates Family Foundation Brings KinVillage’s Vision to Life
We’re thrilled to share a major milestone in our “It Takes a Village” Capital Campaign the completion of a brand-new kitchen in our future Day Program space for older adults. This welcoming, purpose-built kitchen was made possible by a remarkable $300,000 gift from the Boates Family Foundation, represented by Marilyn, Rick, and Dan Boates.
Their generous contribution is more than just an investment in infrastructure. It’s a gift of warmth, community, and connection ensuring that the older adults we serve will have a space where meals are shared, friendships are nurtured, and life is celebrated daily.
Recently, the Boates family joined us for a special walk-through of the space to see how their donation is already taking shape. We are so grateful for their trust and partnership in this project, which will impact countless lives in the years to come.
As we move closer to completing our new Day Program space, this kitchen stands as a symbol of what we can accomplish together. It truly takes a village and the Boates Family Foundation has shown us just how powerful that village can be.
Thank you, Marilyn, Rick, and Dan, for your generosity and belief in our mission.
